Arpi
Arpi was a Daunian town in Apulia region of ancient Italy.
Illyrians and possibly other immigrants came to Arpi (c. 700 BCE) after
collapse of Mycenaean cities. They slowly mixed with the native Ausones
or Osci. Arpi became an ally of Rome from 326 BCE.
